What's it for?
Running giveaways with entry requirements, entry multipliers and automatic winner picking, all from the
/sorteos command.
Pro module.
Giveaways are included in the Roody Pro and Roody Team plans. On the free plan you can view the configuration in the dashboard, but you can't enable the module.
See plans.
Heads up on the names.
This command and its options aren't translated in Discord, so you'll type them in Spanish even with an English client. Below, each one comes with its meaning in brackets.
One command: /sorteos (giveaways)
Every giveaway action lives under the same command as a subcommand. You need the permission set in the module (by default, Manage Messages).
/sorteos crear (create)
Starts a new giveaway. Parameters:
premio(prize, required) — what's being given away.ganadores(winners, required) — how many.tiempo(duration, required) — e.g.30m,2h,3d.canal(channel) — where it's posted (the current one by default).imagen(image) — image URL for the embed.rol_requerido(required role) — only people with that role can enter.
/sorteos crear premio:"Nitro Classic" ganadores:1 tiempo:24h canal:#giveaways/sorteos finalizar (end) · /sorteos reroll
Ends a giveaway early, or draws the winners again. Both ask for the giveaway message's ID.
/sorteos finalizar id_mensaje_finalizar:123456789012345678
/sorteos reroll id:123456789012345678/sorteos editar (edit)
Changes a running giveaway. You can change the prize, the number of winners or the time left.
/sorteos editar id_sorteo:123… nuevo_premio:"Nitro Boost" cantidad_ganadores:2 nuevo_tiempo:12hnuevo_premio = new prize, cantidad_ganadores = number of winners, nuevo_tiempo = new duration.
/sorteos pausar (pause) · /sorteos despausar (resume) · /sorteos eliminar (delete)
Pauses the countdown, resumes it, or deletes the giveaway entirely.

Permissions Roody needs
In the channel where the giveaways are posted:
- View Channel
- Send Messages
- Embed Links
- Attach Files (for the giveaway image)
- Add Reactions
- Manage Messages
- Mention @everyone, @here and All Roles (if you're going to ping winners)
Practical tips
- Turn on the "X minutes before it ends" notice to build hype in long giveaways.
- If you open a giveaway with lots of requirements (role, time in server, messages), add a note in the prize explaining them.
rerollonly re-picks from the entrants already recorded; it doesn't add new people.
